Can you explain in another way?
In other words, A business name is a business name registered with the pertinent authority, you could name your company “The most amazing business limited”. Now your business can have one or multiple trade names.
Lets says your company has 2 different audiences, for instance, one is the happy people and another is the crazy people, you may trade as “Happy amazing business” and “The Crazy business”. Both trade names can be used for the same company “The most amazing business limited”.
“The most amazing business limited” can also own trademarks, let’s say you have a product called “Happy soap™“. Now if you want to protect this name as you don’t want someone else to use it, so you register it at the intellectual property office and now “Happy soap®” is a registered trademark.
